eSIMaccess updates

This month at eSIM Access we release some important updates:

  • Validity Extension – Extension of eSIM pre-installation validity from 30 days to 180 days
  • Sales Dashboard – Useful usage and sales metrics
  • Plan Nicknames – Keep track of them with custom labels
  • QR Code Mailing – email an eSIM QR code from the console

eSIM Pre-Installation Validity

When you purchase an eSIM now, you have 180 days to install and activate it, compared to the previous 30-day period. This extended time frame aims to make it easier for our partners to keep a sufficient inventory of eSIMs without worrying about expiration. It should also alleviate concerns customers may have about needing to use the eSIM quickly to avoid expiration. Importantly, this change does not impact the length of your service plan after the eSIM is installed, nor does it affect the service validity after you begin using it.

The remaining validity days will show in the “Time Left” column in My eSIMs.

Sales Dashboard

We’ve introduced a new sales dashboard within the console to enhance your ability to monitor both sales and usage effectively. This feature provides immediate, at-a-glance metrics that allow you to track your activities more comprehensively. The dashboard captures information on both API-generated and console-generated eSIM activities. This comprehensive view is designed to help you manage and understand overall usage patterns, associated costs, and the number of eSIMs that are currently active.

Plan Nicknames

We’ve enhanced the tracking features of our system by introducing editable plan nicknames. These nicknames allow you to assign user-friendly names to different plans, making it easier to identify which individual or device is using a specific eSIM. This feature is particularly beneficial for businesses and organizations, as it simplifies the process of issuing and refilling eSIMs for your office, team, or crew. By using these editable plan nicknames, you can more efficiently manage and monitor eSIM usage across your organization.

QR Code Mailing

Send an email from the console to the recipient of the eSIM plan with our email feature. The installation QR code will be delivered to the user’s email. From there, they can scan the embedded QR code.

We have a host of additional features in the pipeline. To stay updated on these upcoming enhancements, we encourage you to subscribe to our mailing list. This way, you’ll receive timely updates directly to your inbox.
