We’ve been hard at work, here’s what is new at eSIM Access.
Status check with shareable URL
When using the shareable URL (shortUrl) we now include ability for a user to check their remaining balance and validity. No need for any app, just open the shareable url link and click Check Usage. ( Applies to eSIMs issued from now on. )
Shopify White Label
We continue to make improvements on our Shopify white label store, a quick way to get started selling eSIMs.
Slugs
For API and No Code users, slugs are an alias of packageCode when ordering. Slugs use the simple format “CountryCode_GBs_Days” so VN_1_7 is the 1GB 7 Day plans for Vietnam.
Activate On Network Connection
Most eSIMs plans will now start their validity upon a first network connection. This means a user installing a plan when not in the destination country will not trigger a start to the plan.
Webhooks
We have added notification for the eSIM’s first activation. Notifications documentation.
Pseudo Code
We now can issue eSIMs with infinite validity. With billing upon activation, this functionality means you could issue hundreds of eSIM profiles and be charged only for profile activations. For an example use case, think trade show giveaways, where you could give out thousands of QR code, yet only pay for the ones that got activated!
